i'm probably just going to ramble for a little bit..

(wife) and i had covid for real (july 2020), suffered and got over it. covid, for me, was a very personal and awful experience and i don't want to experience that ever again.. even a little. i thought that when you get a full bore, real virus and got over it naturally you got the antibodies. no one can answer me that. i haven't had a flu shot in years and years.

is the virus real? yes. are people getting it and fucking dying? yes. are people also getting it and not dying? yes. it seems to be a special case for everyone. it seemingly affects everyone differently. i was lucky enough to just be bedridden. it put (wife) in the hospital. some people claim "it was like a bad flu or a summer cold"..

now let's fast-forward to them offering the early vaccines - still in 2020. there were a LOT of people who said last year that they wouldn't be caught dead with TRUMPS VACCINE in their arm. suddenly, after the change of power, those same people are practically pissing themselves to get it. i fully think that they believe that if they take the vaccine.. and the booster and the next booster.. everything will go back to "normal". it won't. this is the new normal.

how do i feel about them? i dunno. not good? kind of indifferent at this point. i've been called a selfish asshole and a monster.

whether you are or are not vaccinated is bringing out the nastiest versions people i knew they could be.
