in light of bungle's reimagining of marathon releasing in september 2025, be sure to play the OGs from the mid 90s, available on all OSes: • aleph one all three gaems are ~45MB each and can run on a toaster. do note, these are from the original bungie team. those dudes have largely moved on to other companies or games. there's very few of them at 2025 bungie. jason jones is still there. he showed off his new cars before laying of a shitload of people in 2023. lol i'm just happy it's not destiny3. the fuckin destiny2 tiger engine is at its absolute limit; every time they do an update - adding weapons, mechanics, or anything else - something breaks. oftentimes in wacky, fucked up ways that forces them to take drastic measures. see: telesto ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE BABY. It feels like it's been forever since I had a chance just to sit down and even shitpost. In short, a bunch of small things on their own popped up all at once and required me to do them all at once and for the past few weeks I've been trying to get them all done. We've also had a bad ice storm that has crippled people just north of me, some people are still without power a week later as I write this. Combine this with record breaking rainfall amounts and snow melt, not pretty. I dodged the bullet with the ice storm, otherwise I'd more likely have 4 feet of water in the basement. Work side of things has been... Worst I've ever dealt with in terms of getting actual work. Some of the big contracts I had lined up going well into May have all went poof because of the stupid political climate between our countries. This year is looking to be one of helping people out with their colossal reno jobs, get hardly any real work and die from sun stroke another summer while watching my savings go. kek. |
