sister got an earful yesterday or the day before from dad. he was saying "oh everyone is moving away" when i live across town. sister is a pediatrics nurse. she has taken up a bunch of travel nurse contracts making a lot of money. her husband has gotten a promotion and the company is looking at moving them to either north carolina or arizona. so it's inevitable that old age has started to take ahold of dad. as of 2022, he is 78. someone told me he got his feet twisted in a power cord and fell last week. i can't deal with that shit right now.

[stream of consciousness] i'm not cursed, but i do have incredibly inappropriate timing. the only way i can justify the option to put domino down is he wouldn't have last through the weekend and would have suffered the whole time. he couldn't even hold his head up. sucks. it's best to remember the good things than focus on the bad.

i had to put my mother in the ground 25 years ago. it was a mixture of snow and rain, blistering cold. feels like i'm cursed to repeat the pain

gonna have to put down my brave little boy soon. he had a nasty breathing problem and it's taken a turn for the worse. 2022 christmas. nothing but joy. [edit] took him to vet erin around three. he's not suffering anymore. my sister said she knew he loved me. rest easy, little man.
