an icue update made my headset (virtuoso xt TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS? LOOOOOOOOOL) unpair. i only wanted it for the EQ settings to boost midrange. tried for hours to get icue to recognize it. no luck. ran across this post by accident. it worked. copying here for posterity if in case some other rando finds it useful: CodyG1199 Posted June 13 IF iCUE IS NOT SEEING YOUR HEADSET TRY THIS (My headset is Virtuoso XT) (Done on iCUE version: 5.2.128) Not sure if it will work for all headsets, but this worked for me with the Virtuoso XT. With iCUE open: 1) Remove the USB wireless receiver. 2) With headset turned OFF, plug headset into PC with USB cable. 3) On iCUE in the home area, a square will pop up detecting the headset and should have a "download" button (for me it was bottom right inside the square). 4) Click the "download" button. After it downloads, it will request a system restart. 5) After the restart, plug the USB wireless receiver back in and unplug the USB cable from the headset. After those steps it should be visible in iCUE again and now you can once again see and adjust the headsets lighting, EQ, and other settings. may need to re-pair the headset with the 𝖉𝖔𝖓𝖌𝖑𝖊

i've been on the happy meds for about three months. night and day difference. it gives me the "brain fog" on purpose. strictly so i can focus on the now instead of months or years down the line. worrying is something i got from my mother. lady would worry about shit that affected us, but in the grand scheme didn't matter at all. i very likely have undiagnosed ADD or ADHD or some other flavor of physiological misfiring brain bullshit. still get migraines on the regular though. sister had bad migraines when we were younger. there were often times when she'd just lock herself in her room, days on end. i don't know if i mentioned this but ima anyway. about a year ago, i went to the doc with complaints of thinking i'm losing my fucking mind; something was very, very wrong. i was tired all the time, migraines were out of control even with prescription medicine. a month or two earlier, i had seen an episode of PKA with drift0r. he had discussed how low testosterone, the docs thought, was the cause of his illness. low-t causes all sorts of bad shit. you'll feel like you're going crazy or seeing shit that isn't there or just wiped out for no reason at all. if given the opportunity, i would have slept the entire day away no question. i "wasn't feeling it"; sex drive was at the lowest low i could imagine. i wanted to blow fat loads into my wife, but my brain wasn't listening, wasn't allowing it. if that makes sense. ED is a thing that goes with low-t and that can be solved quickly with that little blue pill. which is also fucking hilarious. i'm not that old. old enough. here's drift0r's low-t vid: anyway, i go to the doc with my complaints and they draw some blood. checking your testosterone level is literally just a checkbox on the chart as they measure it through the blood. doc comes back into the room after he's looked over some things. he says "a somewhat healthy 40something male's test levels should be somewhere around 350-450." okay "yours are 61." just 61? "yes. that is critically low and could answer a lot of your questions about how you feel" okay.. what do i do now? "well i'm gonna get the nurse to jack you with a booster shot. you're gonna feel right as rain when you leave." so they did and he was right. critically low-t could fucking kill you. sobering thought. now i take a 2ml intramuscular injection every two weeks. pretty sure it's leveled me off, but BOY THAT FIRST MONTH. felt like i was a teenager. shit was off the rails wild. in closing, get your testosterone checked if you haven't.
