FUCK WORDPRESS

10.October.2019 13:44 | boxy | equal rights and lefts
you know shit's fucked on a crazy magnitude when ~i~ give a shit about natural and constitutional rights. if you were lucky enough to have been born in the US* - or have become a legal citizen (congrats) - you get access to inalienable rights that are almost unheard of in the rest of the world.

*i don't give a sweet shit if you fully, 100% believe the united states is a dictatorship and you hate it. be happy you don't live in a fourth or fifth world communist shitheap.

one of those is the right to bear arms.

written at a time when the colonies had just gotten done telling the british crown to go fuck itself via the revolutionary war. the second amendment was given to all citizens freely so that IF governmental tyrants were to ever try the same shit, its citizens could defend themselves.

citizens make up the police, firemen, and military. getting citizens to open fire on other citizens wouldn't take a whole hell of a lot of persuading. at least with the right to bear arms, the citizenry would have a fighting chance.

if someone allows you to do X thing, do it. because you won't know what you have until you don't have it.

also, information will set you free.

08.October.2019 10:36 | boxy | mid morning thoughts, by a tool
note: this went a weird direction lmao

i had a fleeting thought earlier on my daily drive through the hood on the way to work. it's a straight shot sending you through some sketch-as-fuck neighborhoods. it's super early in the morning, so no bad bois are up and attem.

as i was dodging potholes and jaywalkers, i got to thankin. currently, we're not allowed to talk the boatload of shit like we did in SS, way back when. imagine it. we said some fucked up shit to one another. either out of pure hatred or a gentle caress. thems was some WORDS.

none of it was ~illegal~
it could have been ~morally ambiguous~ at the very least; ~fucked up~ at the fore.

and that's just it. they were WORDS. the second we logged off, it was over. i'm one to talk, tho. i had a fucking websitepage where i just talked more shit. but it was just that: "mildly" obsessive shit talking. let's be real, though, i was addicted as fuck to the shit talk. most of us were.

so addicted that it translates over into other games. if i can't teamkill and talk some shit over text, you've lost me.

if i can't talk some shit because someone fucked up and got themselves or their teammates killed and i continually bring up that point so they get off their game and become fueled with R A G E because some text on a screen got them so platinum booty bothered assblasted they've now got my fuckin name in their frontal cortex at all times so when they see me next they break off from whatever the they were doing and go directly at me or a teammate

U CAN SAY UR NOT MAD BUT YOURE MAD ONLINE™

i apologize for going off topic. SHIT TALK. the things we said in the past, there's no way we could say now. everything is politically charged; everything is being dictated by a vocally loud, but insanely small minority. instead of laughing in people's faces when they go off-da-railz multi track drifting, people and businesses cow-tow to their demands, which become increasingly crazy and sideways. BAKE THE CAKE, BIGOT.

"""they""" are attempting to push the envelope to see exactly how far the general public will go to not be seen as hateful. whatever the fuck that means. somewhere along the lines, being SEEN as a hateful bigot - whether true or not, it remains irrelevant - by peers or otherwise, is tantamount in people's lives. being a seemingly ~virtuous, good person~ is more important than actually being a good person. because these people are so morally bankrupt, the illusion is just as good as the real thing. because they're not trying to convince themselves, they're trying to convince others to not try to peel back the sticker and look underneath.. because it's almost always an unsurprisingly ugly caricature.

LOOK AT HOW GOOD I AM. LOOK AT ALL THE VIRTUOUS SHIT I HAVE DONE. LOOK HOW ACCEPTING I AM ABOUT PEOPLES IMAGINARY SEX OR GENDER OR WHATEVER. LOOK AT ME ALLOWING MENTALLY UNSOUND PEOPLE TO RUN THE ASYLUM. THEYRE SO GOSH DANG QUIRKY WITH THEIR FURRY TENDENCIES AND RAPEY SEX PEST WAYS

it's all an illusion and it's all fucking gay

here's a site where i posted logs of people talking shit lmao

07.October.2019 11:15 | boxy | plex and unraid and freenas and shit

through the FUCKING NERDS™ at work, i've figured out relatively quickly that THE thing to use your extra computer(s) for is a NAS - network attached storage. Then to implement Plex or XBMC/Kodi or whatever to access that through a LAN or internet. I want to go the free route, but it may come down to the not-free version because of compatibility or ease of installation.

• Plex (free/"plex pass")
i'm fairly sure plex's free version has more than enough features if all you're wanting to do is transcode/stream media to your phone.

• FreeNAS (free)
• Unraid ($59/89/129)
i'm assuming it's a one-time purchase for unraid.

in my old age, experience has taught me that imperfection is perfection. or some other wax poetic bullshit. sure, you can purchase a cd (lol) or a bunch of mp3s (LOL), but it sounds the exact same every time. the digital perfection can lose a lot of the warmth of an analog vacuum tube; the pop-hiss of the needle hitting the imperfections in the pressing; a well-played record sounds different than a brand new one.

what i'm trying to convey is that i'm fucking picky on what i spend my money on. i refuse to spend real money on digital music. i'll gladly spend the same amount on a live show or a vinyl vs a cd or a handful of mp3s.

SO ANYWAY
MONDO TEES always has an eclectic collection of hard to find shit or re-pressings or just odd shit. it would make wonderful xmas gifts. JUST SAIYAN.
