To our Fellow Canadians, the time for political over reach is over. Our current government is implementing rules and mandates that are destroying the foundation of our businesses, industries and livelihoods. Canadians have been integral to the fabric of humanity in many ways that have shaped the planet.

We are a peaceful country that has helped protect nations across the globe from tyrannical governments who oppressed their people, and now it seems it is happening here. We are taking our fight to the doorsteps of our Federal Government and demanding that they cease all mandates against its people. Small businesses are being destroyed, homes are being destroyed, and people are being mistreated and denied fundamental necessities to survive. It's our duty as Canadians to put an end to this mandates. It is imperative that this happens because if we don't our country will no longer be the country we have come to love. We are doing this for our future Generations and to regain our lives back.

We are asking for Donations to help with the costs of fuel first, and hopefully food and lodgings to help ease the pressures of this arduous task.

It's a small price to pay for our freedoms. We thank you all for your Donations and know that you are helping reshape this once beautiful country back to the way it was.

In order for your generous donations to flow smoothly, the good people at Go Fund Me will be sending donations directly to our bulk fuel supplier and are working out the details now which means your hard earned money is going to straight to who it was meant for and need not flow through anyone else. Any left over donations will be donated to a credible Veterans organization which will be chosen by the donors.

bought a gigabyte GB-BRi3-10110 (and a single 16GB stick of ram and a 500 gig m.2).

well, this week i bought another stick 16GB stick of that patriot V I P E R ram. for no reason other than i could. it's a genuinely mind-blowing. there's no reason in the world this thing ever needed 32GB ram. at all.

the cpu is a laptop cpu - which is fine. my old work computer was an i3-2100 and it ran all sorts of super cpu intensive shit (illustrator/photoshop/corel). the brix can run everything i want to. it can do games that are not too 3d intensive. any 2d shit or emulation? sheeeeeeeeit

it was around $230 last year and they have gone up in price because of course they did.

recently, my wife was diagnosed with some terrible news. she saw her doctor and was given a second lease on life. ultimately, if all goes well, she should survive. monday, 17jan2022, marks the third day she has been taking her new medicine - the side effects of which are extensive and awful. it's going to be a long-term, day by day, struggle.

on ~~thursday or friday last~~ saturday 15jan2022, my wife's father started up a facebook donation drive or gofundme or whatever for her issue. strictly for assistance with the medical bills that will inevitably come. a blessing, for sure. we didn't ask for him to do it and the people who did donate did so out of the kindness of their hearts.

one of her "friends" - or many, i am unsure at the moment - took it upon themselves to start some unneeded, unwanted bullshit. peer pressure, you could call it. again, unsure if it was one person or many. you could also call it a conspiracy, if that's up your alley. it's massively retarded all the way around.

what i am sure of, however, is that my wife cares far too much what other people think. so much so that she will scramble to appease them after the damage is done; even if it hurts her in the end. which it almost always does.

i am speculating, but this person(s) may have done what they did to "teach her a lesson" or to really drive home who a "best friend" is.

sabotage is what i'd call it.

last i checked, "friends" don't fuck each other over for moral, feel good points. it's cliquey, high school level drama that i thought we were over with over 20 plus years ago. evidently, i'm wrong here.

her friend(s) wrote out a massive diatribe through text about how she is swindling people and e-begging. wife called her dad and convinced him to shut it down. the donation page was up for four days. it was supposed to run through the month.

i genuinely do not give a shit about the money - it has gone far beyond something as trivial. we will make due, as i had intended from the start. this is personal. never in my whole fucking life have i been as infuriated as i am now.

i have been told that i am unable to call the person(s) out publicly and make this huge stink because it will only cause more unneeded stress on an already extremely stressful situation.

i don't have single nice thing to say about the person i do know who initiated contact.

evidently, everyone is going through some shit and we're supposed to care about all of it, all the time.

i'd much rather have a website page look like it was coded in 1995 than any of the flat-ui based bullshit that is out there - which is everywhere. at least with web 1.0, you know what you're getting.

you can check the source and it's somewhat readable. as opposed to wordpress and its spaghetti code which somehow works. shouldn't, but it does.
